In 1918, thanks to a government grant, the Pedneault family planted their first
300 fruit trees on the old Isle-aux-Coudres family estate. Since then, many steps
and successes have dotted the history of the family business which hasn’t stopped
expanding since. 1999 marked the history of the company in a more significant way with the addition of a wine
cellar and vinegar and cider factory that enable the business to market new products
they themselves develop such as vinegars, mistelles (liquor wines) as well as cider and cider by-products. In 2007, at the Festival de la gastronomie de Québec
the company proudly claimed several prizes Eight products are now avilable in most SAQ (Quebec Liquor Board) branches and over 150 groceries. Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault
is also a member of the ECONOMUSEUM® Network Society since 2003.
