
CONTEST RULES
To enter the Un Bon et Beau Séjour contest, you must complete the entry form available on www.vergerspedneault.com and correctly answer the questionnaire you will find there.
The contest runs from December 1, 2008 to October 28, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. (EDST). Only eligible entry forms received during the contest period will be entered in the contest. No purchase is necessary to enter.
Organization :
This contest is run by Oasis Communication-Marketing.
Eligibility :
Only one entry per person, per day will be accepted during the contest period. The
contest is open to people aged 18 or over at the time of entry, with the exception
of employees and representatives of the contest organizer (including its partners
and advertising and promotions agencies), as well as members of their immediate
families and any individuals with whom they reside. It is also the same thing for
the Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault partners involved in the contest.
Draw :
On October 29, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. (EDST), a random draw will be held by the contest
organizer to select one (1) contestant from among all eligible entry forms received
during the contest period as winner of the prize.
Prize :
The contestant whose name is selected may be eligible for the following grand prize,
valued at approximately $ 400 (CDN) :
A stay for 2 including : 1 night’s stay at the Auberge Beauséjour, 1 Table d’Hôte
(4 service) supper, 1 complete American breakfast.
A gift basket including : 1 750 ml bottle of L’Or de L’Isle-aux-Coudre, 1 750 ml
bottle of L’Isle-aux-Bleuets, 1 750 ml bottle of la Dame Prune, 1 350 ml bottle
of Le Glacier cider, 1 200 ml bottle of Crème d’Amélanchier, 1 500 ml bottle of
L’Envolée, 1 500 ml bottle of la Petite Poire, 1 500 ml bottle of Plum mistelle,
1 500 ml bottle of Frozen Apple mistelle, 1 Apple Butter, 1 Plum Jam, 1 Foie de Canards Terrine from La Ferme Basque, 1 Creton from La Ferme Basque.
The winner will be responsible for making hotel reservations (without any priority)
by joining the establishment named above. Some restrictions may be applied.
The contest organizer makes absolutely no claim or guarantee with regard to the
prizes and is in no way liable for any harm that may arise from prize use. Prizes
must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions will be permitted. However, the contest
organizer reserves the right to substitute other prizes of an equal or higher value
at its discretion. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
Selecting and notifying winner :
Should the selected contestant be unreachable by phone, or fail to reply within
fifteen (15) days of the first attempt by the contest organizer to reach him or
her by phone or by email, the contestant may be eliminated at the sole discretion
of the contest organizer. In the event that a contestant is eliminated, the contest
organizer reserve the right to randomly draw the name of one or more additional
contestants whom they will attempt to contact and who may also be eliminated in
the same way. All entry forms become the property of the contest organizer and none
will be returned.
Before claiming the prize, the winner may be required to sign a release form declaring
the following: that he or she has read, understood, and agreed to the contest rules;
consents to all the terms of these rules; authorizes the contest sponsor to release
and publish his or her name, address, photograph, likeness, or voice in connection
with any promotion or advertising, or for general information or entertainment purposes,
without remuneration; accepts the prize as awarded; and absolves the contest organizer
of any and all liability for harm that he or she may suffer as a result of entering
the contest, or accepting or using the prize. The odds of winning depend on the
number of eligible entry forms received.
Announcement of winner :
The winner's name will only be posted on the Web site once the winner has been contacted
and has accepted the prize. A press release may also be sent to some medias.
General conditions :
Subject to approval by Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, the
contest organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, end, modify,
or suspend the contest, notably by canceling all methods of entering and by choosing
a winner from among the eligible entry forms already received, in the event the
administration, security, impartiality, integrity, or normal operation of the contest
is adversely affected or jeopardized due to a computer malfunction caused by a virus, unauthorized human intervention, fraud, breakdown, or any other occurrence beyond
the control of the contest organizer.
The contest organizer is not liable for faulty phones or telephone lines; electronic
equipment; faulty computer networks, hardware, or software; or the alteration, faulty
transmission, or erased Internet transmission of an email caused by technical problems
or congestion on the Internet or at a Web site, notably in the event that a contestant
or third party suffers damage to his or her computer as a result of entering the
contest or downloading content from the contest Web site.
The contest organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to declare ineligible
any individual who attempts to tamper with contest entries or the operation of the
contest in a way that contravenes these rules or hinders the operation of the contest
in any way. The contest organizer reserves the right to change the contest rules
without substantially altering the terms and conditions of the contest.
Subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations,
these rules govern all aspects of the contest and are binding for all contestants.
Open to Quebec residents only: a) disputes regarding the organization or conduct
of a promotional contest may be submitted to Régie des alcools, des courses et des
jeux for a ruling. b) Disputes over the awarding of a prize may also be submitted
to Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, but only for the purpose of helping
parties reach a settlement.
Online entries are considered to have been submitted by the authorized holder of
the email account for the email address included with the entry. The expression
"authorized holder of the email account" refers to the individual to whom an email
address is assigned by an Internet provider, an online service provider, or any
other entity (company, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning
email addresses for the domain of the email address presented.
Privacy policy :
By filling out the contest entry form, you agree to allow this information to be
used for contest purposes. If you have given the organizer or others express permission
to send you information or special offers, you also agree to allow this information
to be used in relation to the contest.
